General Objective

Managing excellence award processes within King Faisal University, contributing to enhancing the university’s reputation through achieving national and international awards, and supporting creative initiatives within the university.

Responsibilities

1. Implement plans, programs, and the unit’s approved budget.
2. Establish mechanisms to motivate university affiliates toward excellence in various fields.
3. Propose and follow up on standards and procedures related to excellence awards at the university.
4. Contribute to enhancing the university’s reputation through achievements in national and international awards.
5. Organize training courses and workshops on institutional excellence, national and international awards, and creative initiatives.
6. Adopt and follow up on distinguished initiatives.
7. Develop a university excellence awards system, manage nomination submissions, and honor outstanding achievers.
8. Contribute to designing and developing criteria and regulations for the university’s excellence awards, review related matters, and provide recommendations.
9. Measure stakeholder and beneficiary satisfaction with the unit’s services.
10. Perform any other tasks within its scope of responsibility.
